Children in search of protection in Iceland and the Convention of the rights of the children

On March 22, 2018 Mobilities and Transnational Iceland had pleasure to participate in the workshop “Children in search of protection in Iceland and the Convention of the rights of the children” organized by UNICEF Iceland in Harpa. Three keynote lectures were given by: Bina D’Costa, UNICEF Office of Research – Innocenti, Johan Frantz, UNHCR regional office for Northern Europe and a member of Mobility network – Guðbjörg Ottósdóttir, Professor in Social Work at the Univeristy of Iceland. During the workshop, a new report “Protected on Paper? An analysis of Nordic country responses to asylum-seeking children” has been presented.
