Margrét is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business Administration. She has wide range of research interests from creative industries, to gender and ethnicity in the job market to higher education research. Margrét is responsible for a research centre on Creative Industries in Iceland, and played an important role in mapping the economic impact of the Creative Industries in Iceland. She has further conducted applied research for the government and the capital municipalities. Margret is also involved in an ongoing project on the hiring process of foreigners in in Iceland.
