
International conference: Mobilities and Transnationalism in the 21st century

Mobilities and Transnational Iceland organizes an international conference Mobilities and Transnationalism in the 21st century to be held between 28th and 30th of April, 2019 in Hotel Radisson Blu Saga.
The organizational committee:

- Unnur Dís Skaptadóttir, Professor in Anthropology, University of Iceland
- Sigurjón Baldur Hafsteinsson, Professor in Museology, University of Iceland
The conference brings together scholars from different fields interested in various forms and expressions of mobility and transnationalism. The conference includes three keynote lectures by: Mimi Sheller, Professor of Sociology at Drexel University, Liz Fekete, Director of the Institute of Racial Relations and Sharon Macdonald, Professor in Social Anthropology at Humboldt University. More than 70 different presentations are grouped in 19 sessions.
